Sell Surplus Electrical Wire in Endicott, New York
Endicott is where the region’s electronics industry began, and the large campus buildings that remain still carry heavy distribution systems serving modern tenants.
LOCAL CONTEXT
Where wire surplus comes from in Endicott
Defence and technology manufacturers occupy parts of the old campus, and their building and process projects produce new, tagged cable: feeder, grounding, tray and shielded instrumentation. Those lots are among the cleanest in the Southern Tier to review.
The village itself has a commercial main street and older housing, where service upgrades and panel work are constant. Small lots from that work combine well with campus material in the same trip.
Typical sellers here
- Defence and technology manufacturers on former campus sites
- Village commercial property owners
- Broome County electrical contractors
- Residential property owners after service upgrades
Loading and freight
Campus sites load at a dock under security requirements; village properties load from a street or rear lot with parking constraints.
No pickup is scheduled and no price is offered until a written description of the material and the terms have been agreed. Estimating freight before the access is known is guesswork, which is why we ask about the door before the reel.

Photographs, reel tags and enough detail about the building or site to plan loading. A partial description is still a starting point.

Endicott — questions sellers ask
Answers describe how material is reviewed. They are not an offer, a price or a commitment to purchase.
Do you review package overage from a defence manufacturer?
Yes, where it has been released and is genuinely surplus. Export-control and security requirements are respected.
Is old service cable from village housing purchased?
Reviewed on condition and size; very old insulation is usually recovered rather than reused.
Can a lot include material from several village addresses?
Yes, listed together with approximate quantities.
