There is no storefront, yard or counter to visit. Material is reviewed from descriptions, photographs and documentation, and collected by arrangement once terms are agreed.
What to include in a first message
- City or town and ZIP code where the wire is located
- Wire type, conductor metal, size and approximate footage
- Number of reels, spools or coils
- Photographs of reel tags, jacket print and the storage area
- Loading details — dock, forklift, elevator, stairs
If you have not read it, the identification guide explains what those photographs should show.
Before you write
This desk buys wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers and machinery are outside scope, and enquiries about them cannot be reviewed here.
Material that is still installed, or that was removed without the owner’s release, is not purchased. The quote form asks for a confirmation of ownership for that reason.
