A buying desk for surplus wire, not a salvage yard
This site exists to do one thing: review surplus electrical wire and cable held by businesses in New York State, and buy it when the material and the terms make sense.
What this is
A review desk. Material is described, photographed, identified where possible and valued on its own merits. If a lot is accepted, price, payment timing, freight, loading and pickup are agreed in writing for that transaction.
There is no warehouse tour, no scale at the gate and no per-pound sign. Reels are bought as reels, on documentation, because that is the only way a buyer and a seller can both know what is being exchanged.
What this is not
- Not a scrap yard, and not a metal-price service
- Not a marketplace or a broker between sellers
- Not a buyer of transformers, switchgear, breakers, generators or machinery
- Not a company with a New York office, yard or pickup route — none is claimed anywhere on this site
Why the scope is narrow
Wire and cable reward specific knowledge: the difference between THHN and XHHW-2, between 100% and 133% insulation levels, between a tagged partial and an untagged guess. A general salvage business cannot review those distinctions remotely, and a general enquiry form cannot collect them. Narrowing the scope is what makes an honest remote review possible.
Standards applied to this site
- No fabricated addresses, ratings, reviews, testimonials or completed purchases
- No claim of top-dollar pricing, same-day offers, free freight or guaranteed pickup
- No page created by swapping a place name into a template
- Photographs are seller submissions, described for what they show

Have a lot that fits the scope?
Wire and cable, located in New York, with a description and whatever photographs exist. That is enough to start.
